'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' originated from a quintessential dream: to introduce genuine Neapolitan pizza to London. The Taylor family opened our doors in 1985 as a quaint, family-oriented shop, utilizing recipes preserved over generations.
Emma Taylor, the progenitor of our establishment, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her extensive travels across Italy, where she apprenticed with esteemed pizzaiolos within the pizza-originating city of Naples. After her time in Italy, she came back to the UK with a resolve to replicate the essence of pure Italian pizza, employing age-old practices and the finest materials.
From our humble beginnings as a 12-seat eatery, we've evolved into a cherished cornerstone of the community while steadfastly maintaining our devotion to excellence and genuineness. We persist in employing traditional wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch daily, and selecting top-notch ingredients.
Currently, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still a family-led venture, with the successive Taylor generation at the helm of our enthusiastic crew. Despite a few contemporary enhancements, at our core, we continue to deliver delectable, bona fide pizza that unites patrons.
